For children, summertime means fun. From splashing in the pool to giggling the night away during sleepovers, most kids look forward to their summer breaks.
But for many children in San Antonio, summertime means no school lunch program and no guarantee of at least one meal a day.
To make sure our local children have enough to eat, the San Antonio Food Bank serves 3,800 meals to children each day during the summer. Without this program at 127 sites throughout the area, these children may go days or even weeks without a nutritious meal in their stomachs.
You can help combat hunger in our city by joining Five Star Cleaners’ annual
